As a chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network, ICAN of Baltimore works to improve maternal-child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean recovery, and promoting Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC).

We hold monthly meetings that are open for everyone. It is a good place to talk about your experience, ask questions about cesareans and childbirth, as well as get support for subsequent births.
